For Authors
We invite original contributions from all areas of electrical power engineering.
Symposium topics
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Generation of Electricity, Transmission, Distribution and Consumption of Electricity
High Voltage Technique and Diagnostics in Power Engineering
Power Systems Relaying, Faults Analysis
Power System Control, Liberalisation of Electricity Market
Smart Grids
Electromobility
Data Security in Power Engineering, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Instructions for authors
- Research papers for publication must be written in English. English is also the language of all presentations, including the PhD session.
- Each paper will be peer-reviewed by the international scientific committee.
- At least one author of each accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference.
- The best conference papers will be selected and suggested for extended submission in a special issue of Acta Polytechnica Hungarica at no additional cost.

Paper format
- Papers are written in English using the conference template.
- Recommended length: 4–6 pages including figures and references.
- Submit the paper as a PDF file; source files will be requested after acceptance.
- Figures and tables must be legible and numbered, with references in IEEE style.

Submission process
- 1Prepare your paper according to the conference template.
- 2Send the paper by e-mail to eesymp@tuke.sk before the submission deadline.
- 3Your paper will be peer-reviewed by the International Scientific Committee and you will be notified by e-mail.
- 4Submit the final (camera-ready) version and complete your registration.
- 5Present your paper at the conference.
Instructions for presenters
- The programme will be available in print form for all symposium attendees.
- After the final acceptance of the articles, participants will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to present the article.
- Keynote lectures: maximum 30 minutes.
- Other sessions: maximum 8 minutes + 2 minutes discussion.
- Presentation format: pptx or pdf.
- Presentations should be brought on USB 15 minutes before the start of the session.
- Symposium language is English — presentations, papers and PhD session speeches are in English.
